Ideal Primary Care strives to meet your healthcare needs so that your chances of needing urgent or emergency care are reduced. However, health concerns are not always predictable. We do keep some same-day appointments available whenever possible.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away.
For urgent concerns that arise outside of office hours, there are several urgent care options available. Two local options include:
Alice Peck Day express care– https://www.alicepeckday.org/services/express-care
These facilities can help with issues such as minor injuries, infections, or illnesses that need prompt attention but are not life-threatening.
Controlled substances and emergent need;
If you are in an emergent need due to a lost/stolen/unable to obtain controlled substance most emergency rooms allow a 72 hour carry over.
Some pharmacists will allow a 72 hour carry over with proper documentation.
